Great food, fried pork chops very good as well as the brisket plate lunch.....on Sunday only BBQ PLATE LUNCHS ARE GREAT.

This place is a gem. This country girl is real excited to have stumbled onto this EATERY. COME HERE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONES TASTE. 6 OR 8 CHOICES OF MAIN MEAT, 8 CHOICES OF SIDES. $9.99 12.99 SEAFOOD. COOLER NEAR CHECKOUT WITH GOOD VARIETY DESSERT. $3.99 I ATE THE HAMBURGER STEAKS 2, 2 SCOOPS MASH TATERS WITH BROWN GRAVY WITH ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS, 1 SCOOP CORN GRITS , 1 SCOOP BLACKEYE PEAS. SOFT DINNER ROLL. I PICKED BANANA PUDDING FOR MY DESSERT. $.13.72. I ate my fill there , took away rest, ate for lunch weds, still enough for another small plate. I may never cook again. FOLKS WHO RUN IT AND WORK THERE VERY NICE. CLEAN PLACE ALSO . VERY FRIENDLY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT MISS THIS ESTABLISHMENT......

Food was delicious. Place is a little bit on the old side but that just adds character.

Stopped in with less than 30 minutes to close for lunch. Found a nice selection of meats and vegetables on the steam table. Picked the baked chicken plus greens, mixed vegetables, and rice dressing. They add dinner roll. Chicken fell off the bone tender, and they gave me enough for two people so I ate half and two sides. Saved the rest for later. Locally owned restaurant food is so much better than the franchise stuff. You just have to look outside the high rent strip mall areas.

If you're like me and want to support independent restaurants, Theriot's is a slam dunk. This place's daily menu has practically something for everyone. Me, I'm partial to Monday's 7-Steak in Gravy and Tuesday's Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy. Add to that three additional sides you choose and you'll be in the zone. I can't say enough good things about them. We usually get something three times a week. Yeah, I think they're that good. Thank a million, folks. You keep cooking and we'll keep eating!
