The Zack Shack

A perfect spot for tasty burgers without a long wait or crowds. This unassuming trailer on Rt. 1 in Thomaston, almost to Rockland, is worth a stop. Order at the window and they'll call your name when it's ready. Pick a picnic table or take it to go. Friendly service. We both ordered double burgers and they were incredibly good for less than $15 each. We were starving after a long hike and these were substantial and filling and very tasty and tender. Highly recommend for a quick, casual meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 stars

I really like the Zack Shack. The people who work here are wonderfully amazing! The Haddock and the Shrimp are delicious. And the prices are great. The portions are smaller than they used to be but still good.

Really friendly people all in all delicious burger was piping hot cooked perfectly juicy. French fries were crispy nicely salted no sogginess and it was already before the 10 to 15 minute. Quoted time will definitely be back.

Read the reviews! Decided this was the place for dinner! Arrived at 4:45 pm, order a lobster roll , only to be told, “We’re out of lobster.” “WHAT???,” I said. Yup, no lobster, but the shrimp basket was out of this world!! And, I’m in town for 4 days! I’ll get my lobster roll either way tomorrow or on Monday!!! Zach Shack lived up to the reviews… WONDERFUL!!

Great price and great lobster roll. My husband had a cheeseburger and that was also delicious! Definitely recommend!!
