The Yard Coffee

The Yard was one of the few spots for coffee open late in the area, and me and my girlfriend needed a little pick-me-up. It was a perfect quiet spot to stop for a drink. The outdoor space is beautiful, the staff were quite friendly, and their signature drink was just what we needed. The only real downside is the slightly confusing situation when you first arrive and need to figure out where to go to order. Other than that, it was great.

A really cute spot! My boyfriend took me here for a cute coffee date. I Would really recommend if you’re looking for a homie vibe. The employees were very kind with smiles and great service. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed the jazz music they were playing. I really enjoy the outdoor seating. The indoor seating is a little bit more intimate and quite would be great if you are looking for a spot to do some work or homework. 10/10 I would visit again!

You’ll come here and immediately fall in love! Honestly, an adorable house/yard turned coffee shop with a charming, simple vibe. The coffee I got was unique and incredibly tasty, and you can sit inside or outside. We came around brunch time, and there was a good amount of people enjoying the warm weather outside, kids playing in the yard, and great music playing. I could’ve stayed here all day! If you don’t leave this place wanting to start your own coffee shop from your house/yard, something’s wrong.

My new favorite cafe in Redwood City. I enjoyed a dirty chai and haven't tried the food yet, but it was the atmosphere, including the service, that sold me on this Sunday morning. It felt like a nice neighborhood cafe in a small town with friendly guests who knew each other. There are various seating options to suit your preference inside and out / in the sun or shade. The ambiance was a peaceful respite from the hustle, bustle of life of Silicon Valley life like an escape to enjoying life the way it should be. All this at the edge of downtown Redwood City that you're unlikely to walk walk by, yet just around a corner from the Library. One of my new favorite spots to stop for coffee in the Bay. The actual shop is in the side yard of a house, where you wouldn't expect a coffee shop to be, but there it is. After ordering, you can relax inside the house or by the garden and enjoy the scenery. I ordered a latte which I very much enjoyed. 10/10 would recommend, hope to come back here again.
