The Wild Rose Restaurant

We were visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and needed to find a dinner location open later as all restaurants and stores close so early in Estes Park! The Wild Rose was one of the only restaurants open until 9 PM. We pulled up to the restaurant around 8:30 and I expected to not be served. However, our server sat us and made us feel so welcomed. We also did not feel rushed and the server told us to take our time. The food was very good and filled us up from the adventure in the park all day. The food was also reasonably priced. The atmosphere was historic feeling as the building was old. There was nice music playing with low lighting and that contributed to the ambiance. Wandered in without reservations - sat quickly with very fast service from Zola. She was so sweet and kind. Estes Park Amber Ale was delicious, as well as the Elk Burger & Fries. Drinks and food came very fast. Every employee we interacted with was lovely.

This is a fantastic place. The Homemade Saurbrauten wa so good. Brought memories of my youth with homemade German food. The waitress Elena was so kind and pleasant. Relaxed artisans not being rushed which was an extra plus. Can’t say enough of this place

Beautiful, well appointed restaurant in Estes Park that serves game meat. Elk steaks was divine so was the wild meat sampler. What make this visit special is Elena, our waitress, is so kind, warm and attentive. Five stars all around!

Gorgeous little restaurant with great food and great service. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and my boyfriend had the Alfredo pasta with chicken. Delicious food, perfect for our date night. 10/10 recommend and we will be coming here again.
