The Wild Plum Cafe

Absolutely LOVE this little place. So good to have found it and to be nearby while staying in the area. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and so friendly. It is such a welcoming experience to be able to eat all the same things as my family (as a celiac) and to feel safe doing so AND to have the food actually taste good! We ate there 2 times in 3 days.

Wild Plum is easily one of Monterey’s best spots for a high-quality, organic breakfast or lunch. It’s a cozy, eco-conscious gem with plenty of great options for vegans. It can get busy on weekends, but the fresh, scratch-made food is well worth the wait! We hade the Vegan Tofu Scramble Vegan Tofu Veggie skillet ,Avocado toast and Began Breakfast burrito The servings are big and very filling ! Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a lot. At first thought it was overpriced but you get a lot for what's ordered. I enjoyed my omelette. Very different but it was great. Everything looked great. Would suggest giving customers salt and pepper automatically or leaving on table. They serve tap water. Wasn't used to the taste of the tap water here, as we were visiting out of state. Did not like that at all.

Absolutely obsessed with Wild Plum Cafe! I’m on a 10 day road trip through California with my boyfriend, and this was definitely one of the top meals of the whole trip! Delicious flavor in both of our meals, with super fresh and healthy ingredients. The vibe was super comfortable and the staff were very sweet and attentive! Wish I lived nearby to make this place a regular. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent place to enjoy breakfast/brunch in downtown Monterey. We appreciated the selection of vegan/vegetarian options offered by the establishment. The tofu scramble complimented with homemade bread and roasted potatoes were excellent! The cinnamon toast was slightly on the sweeter side for us but good nonetheless.
