The Whitney House Inn

The Whitney House is located at the center of Arlington set back from Route 7a and screened by a row of substantial plantings. It is a lovely, turn of the last century home, with the woodwork and spacious public areas one expects from a quality home of that era.The bedrooms are more than adequate in size and well decorated. The host is very congenial and provides pre-breakfast trays outside the rooms in the morning. Breakfast is served in the large parlor and ours was a well prepared, ample, traditional meal .

The Inn is beautiful and very clean great breakfast more than you can eat. Kerry is just terrific and makes you feel like family. Just happened across the Whitney but will definitely be going back to visit Vermont and KERRY. We just stayed one night on our way to Maine June 20 2017

A lower cost option in a lovely old home with basic but comfortable accommodations. Early morning coffee at your room door and a full breakfast in the living room.

What a great place and a great owner. We enjoyed our stay, Kerry was very warm and inviting and had great conversations on the front porch every afternoon.
