The White House on the Hill

Nice place to stay near Round Top. Large converted barn with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and a loft. Expensive for what you get but nice and quiet. Nice gas fire pit. Inside was roomy and clean. All the outdoor furniture is old, worn, with some of it broken, needs to be replaced. They charge an extra daily fee ($60) for each person over 2 people but they don't provide anything extra for that fee. Not sure what that's about, feels like a cash grab.

My wife and I stayed here immediately following our wedding. We have never stayed in a more hospitable place in our whole lives! The host even took some wonderful pictures of me and my wife. Would recommend. The scenery and room are beautiful.

If you're visiting Round Top and looking for a place to stay then look no further. White House on the Hill is a total hidden gem and absolutely gorgeous and elegant. The land is owned by a genuine and caring couple who are very kind and have a pleasantly peaceful quality to them. You will have two options for rooms here, they have the converted chapel closer to the entrance (perfect for a couple) and a newer wooden build a little further into the property that has multiple rooms which is perfect for a family or larger group. Fully equipped with a bathroom, kitchen, and showers. Every nook and cranny was thoughtfully designed and the furniture and decor is so suitable for the theme of the place. The White House On The Hill was an exceptional place to get away a relax. The beauty in the barn is exquisite. Each bedroom is decorated with magnificent furniture and bedding. The beautiful firepit calls guest to enjoy wine as the sun is setting or coffee at sunrise. Walking trails are cut through the pasture for morning or evening exercise. The owners, Rob and Linda, were so gracious and Rob even gave us a tour of his successful olive farm. We will be back!

This is a beautiful small house set on a lake. The property is very well kept and secluded. They have a walking path that goes around the lake, through the olive Grove, through the tall grass field and past the larger Barn house. It is very peaceful they give great service and the house is very clean. The breakfast was different every morning and was really tasty. A wonderful getaway for our anniversary.
