My wife and I have been touring TX alot of years on a motorcycle. Don't know how we missed place!! Wish I could give it 10+ stars. The food is Simply The Best !! Good Old TX hospitality and service. Ice cold beer behind the counter. The burgers and onion rings are perfection. My wife had a BLT, she said it was also the best she ever had!! If you ride a motorcycle, this place is the benchmark destination for great food. Well worth a 100-200 mile day trip, along with beautiful scenic backroads between Burton and Lake Somerville. To the Owners and Staff, THANK YA'LL we had a Great Day!!
Small town stop for items plus excellent restaurant inside. Great place in burton, tx. They have nearby local places that are amazing. I alway stop here for country cooking at unbeatable prices. Just got back from state Park and needed a good eat. Locals extremely friendly. Just good to escape city life and relax. Best chicken fried in the area. A+++

Best honey butter chicken biscuit EVER! Whataburger who?!? Blows them away!
Local place, yes. Been around awhile, yes. Seems a lot of people know everyone. Local charm. Philly cheese steak and fries was on point and the sweet tea was just right. If you're out on a motorcycle or touring the Cotton Gin, save time for lunch.
