The Whiskey Lodge

Warm and inviting space. Bartender was super nice and helpful. Pretty good selection of whisky. Cocktails were underwhelming -- not well balanced and watery. Good beer selection. Reasonable whisky pour prices. We didn't eat food, just stopped for drinks while watching the Bears game. Plenty of tvs, but a couple are in need of replacing (bad picture).

Great friendly service. Good drinks. Live music guy was really good, great varitey of music. Loaded nachos could have been more loaded. They were good but needed more green chile sauce and cheese. Maybe some tomatoes and black beans would have been nice. French fries delicious.

To be fair, I didn’t order any drinks. So those may be delicious. The food however is terrible. The queso was good but the chips were stale store corn rounds. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was about 3 oz ( half the size of the bun) and looked and tasted like it was microwaved right out of the freezer. The fries were cold which was odd since it was 6 pm and we were one of only a few tables that were being used. My wife got a cheese pizza which just wasn’t good.

Under new ownership and feels like a much needed neighborhood pub. Eddie is the owner and is out mingling with the patrons. I will be back just to get the Nashville Chicken Sandwich… delicious!

Excellent establishment if you love whiskey and/or bourbon. I'm not really a fan of either but they do have other cocktails and drinks! Their golden margarita is delicious! The duck wings were amazing! Got their wings too. Their lemon pepper dry rub was fantastic. The establishment is a little small so you get cozy with people REALLY FAST but that's not a problem since everyone there is super friendly there 😊
