The Wafflers -Belgian Waffle Bar

The Wafflers Belgian Waffle Bar in White Rock is a sweet little treasure! Their waffles are light, fluffy, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Topped with fresh fruit, ice cream, or chocolate drizzle, each bite feels like pure happiness. The presentation is beautiful, and the portions are generous enough to share—though you might not want to! The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect place to treat yourself after a walk along the beach. Highly recommended for waffle lovers!

The food was so good and the service was amazing! The lady that took our orders was exceedingly kind. She checked in with us, took photos for us, and was a lovely conversationalist! We got the paradise waffle (strawberries and whipped cream) and the mango sorbet waffle (had a strawberry sauce drizzle, mango, and a yummy scoop of mango sorbet) and they were both delicious. We're looking forward to coming back! :)

We had an amazing lunch here. One of us had a waffle and the others had crepes with prosciutto and Brie. I can honestly say this was the best crepe I’ve had outside of France - it’s just as good, which makes sense since the owner is from France. We also had a love chat with him and his wife. Wonderful people, amazing food, charming little place!

Sweet crepes were excellent and tasty. Savoury crepes and waffles were not worth the cost, very bland. Coffee and London Fog were also good. Basically stick to the sweet menu and the hot drinks. Be prepared to wait for your meal and to come out slowly if you come in a group.

The waffles I had were quite underwhelming, especially considering the price. I tried the Buntella and Paradise, and while they were decent, there was nothing particularly special about them. The portions were small, and the taste was simple – honestly, I could make better ones at home with just some whipped cream and Nutella. The creativity or "wow factor" you’d expect from a waffle shop just wasn’t there. To top it off, the latte I ordered didn’t taste like a real latte at all. Overall, it was an average experience that didn’t justify the high prices.
