The Village Table & Tavern

Seriously, one of the best meals I’ve had out in a while. The place has got it all: nice atmosphere, good cocktails, great food, and friendly service! I happened to be there for Tuesday lasagna night, and wow! Fresh made pasta with wild boar meat in a tomato gravy … was incredible. The shrimp and grits was tasty too. Definitely recommend - and get a reservation for sunset. The view is incredible throughout the restaurant.

Beautiful venue in Duck for a night out! The food was great with a large variety of different kinds. The sunset was absolutely beautiful through the line of windows. And our server hooked me up because I was craving rum and Mountain Dew. Then he mentioned they had Cheerwine. So I had my first ever Cheerwine & Rum beverage. YUM! Highly recommend the Calamari and Poke!

This was our first time visiting The Village Table and Tavern, and I didn't hate it. I didn't love it either, but i definitely did not hate it. First off, our waiter, Ryan, is what made the entire experience great. He was attentive, and he seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Hats off to Ryan. Second, the view that you can see from almost anywhere in the restaurant is just gorgeous. It's such a pretty atmosphere. We got the goat cheese hush puppies, delicious! The tavern burger was just okay, but the fries were great! And I got nothing but smiles from the kids when it came to the chicken tenders. All in all, we would probably give this restaurant another try next time we visit the OBX.

Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views! The calamari and tuna tartar were our favorites, and some of the best we’ve ever had. The shrimp and grits was a little lack luster, but that was our only complaint. Drinks and key lime desert were also good! We would definitely go back!

The food here was delicious! The service was good. The view of the Currituck sound was absolutely beautiful from anywhere in the restaurant. Definitely would recommend if you want good quality food and a nice view.
