The Village Cafe

Honestly one of the greatest coffee shops I’ve been to in a long time. The service is pleasant and accommodating and the atmosphere is fantastic. Their coffee and food are both high quality and made fresh. I would highly suggest their baked oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches as well as their lattes!!! Contemplating making the trip from NJ just to go here!

I read the reviews and thought it would be a great place to stop and eat. The BLT was highly rated in mentioned in several reviews. I guess my expectations were too high. The lettuce was shredded and that was just the start really. The coffee very good however. I set were several other families were and they were not scheduled to close for over an hour away. They started putting up chairs on the tables all around me and then the kiss of death. They started sweeping the floor all around me creating dust in the air to fall in my food. I told her I was leaving soon. No abatement. I don’t plan on ever stopping at this place again. Yes, they were successful in sweeping me out the door !

This was our first time here. We have passed this Café many times, and we decided to stop in and give them a try. They serve mostly sandwiches and soups at dinner time. I had a cheeseburger hoagie, and my wife had a turkey sandwich on a croissant and potato chips. You order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. You also bus your own table when you are finished. The restrooms were out in a hall. I think they are used by several businesses. They were clean and well maintained. The dining area was neat and clean with lots of natural light. We enjoyed our dinner and had a positive experience. I hope that you will give it a try.

When you just love a place, it's food, atmosphere and people, you go back! The village Cafe and Latte Luv are truly local favorites, under one roof. Everything is wonderful, though...I recommend you upgrade from regular fries to their seasoned waffle fries.

This place was a bust, definitely won’t come here again. My girlfriend and I waited 15 minutes for an Americano while watching a parade of people who came in after us get served—with no communication from the staff, no apology. This was after the initial frustration of a confusing layout, hard to know where to order, the drip coffee was on the other side, no real cream (just little packets, like a cheap hotel breakfast). The drinks weren’t even good, let alone worth a long wait—overall just an annoying way to start the day. The staff was friendly when we ordered, but otherwise it was a total waste of time and money. Next time I’ll just drive to New Holland Coffee Company, which actually is the great coffee shop we were hoping this place would be.
