The Village Bistro

We were delighted with this restaurant. It was full so that tells you it serves delicious food. I did wish the butter was softened for my pancakes. The pancakes were thick and tasty but a bit dry for me but very good, nonetheless. The bacon was perfect. You know when it’s just right. The pig was loved before it became bacon. The eggs were top notch. The chorizo Benedict was gold!

After reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a try — and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The menu was different from what was posted online, which was frustrating from the start. The food itself was even more disappointing. The meatballs were undercooked, the shrimp had a strong fishy taste, and my fettuccine Alfredo was made with thin, overcooked spaghetti instead of traditional fettuccine. Our drinks tasted mostly like Sprite. Service was equally underwhelming. The waitstaff seemed disorganized and didn’t even bring plates out with the appetizers. The food arrived cold, and no one in our group ended up eating much of their meal. Based on our experience, I genuinely don’t understand how this restaurant has received such positive reviews. I would recommend saving

The food was excellent, but it took an hour to get our food. The Bloody Mary was a bit too tomatoey and tasted week, but the Bistro Mimosa was fantastic. I would go back, but I hope I don't have to wait as long in the future.

Ordered a to-go sandwich and slice of pie, sandwich was incomplete, missing cheese and sauce leaving me to try to eat dry toast. Over half of my fries are black and crumbled when you tried to bite them.. Tossed it away and went for my pie, no utensils were included in the bag. It’s been a couple years since I have eaten Here as I live out of state. Was sad to see it’s gone downhill. It’s pretty disappointing to drop $30 on one lunch and not be able to enjoy it

This place is a hidden gem! I plan on going back to try much more of what's on the menu. The burgers were amazing! Juicy, perfect sized patty, and cooked a perfect medium well. I had the sweet potato fries- they were a delicious compliment to the savory black and blue burger. Our server was present and did an excellent job. She was friendly and attentive even though she was busy. I highly recommend this place!
