Visited on a Saturday afternoon with reservation. Easy to make a reservation via Resy. We were immediately greeted and seated immediately upon being checked in. We were there close to opening and the restaurant quickly filled with patrons. The interior is beautiful and bright with tables and bar seating. The restaurant tables are cozy but it definitely makes for a warm communal ambiance. The team was attentive and our server Katie gave great recommendations for starters, drinks, and entrees. I had the branzino entree with broccolini as well shared deviled eggs and ceviche. The starters were really good - classic deviled with an oyster fritter on top and creamy filling and the ceviche and seasoned chips were light and tangy. The entree plates are a hefty portion - the branzino was a whole f

2/19/2026 - Superb customer service from the front end to the back end of restaurant. The restaurant itself is narrow, but arranged thoughtfully. It definitely has an intimate appeal beginning with the color palette to lighting with finishing touches of greenery. Loved it all! Food was merely okay and very exuberant. Red Snapper Nuggets - overly fried / I would never order again. $35 Butter Cake - good of course / disappointing amount of ice cream ( 1/2 scoop or less). It is a huge disappointment when a dessert is supposed be accompanied with ice cream, but you don't add ice cream. It wasn't even a child's portion. Berry Sauce was scarcely offered like the taste of ice cream. $14 Crab & Corn Soup is ridiculously priced / the serving is barely a cup for $18. Really! I absolutely didn'

On 12/21/25, I had lunch at the Urban Oyster and I was not disappointed! The fabulous hostess Erica sat me at the bar and recommended I try an Old Fashion made with Tequila, which was a first for me. The bartender, Angela, made me a fabulous drink, and recommended some great appetizers! I tried the corn chowder with crab, the red snapper nuggets, the hot honey old bay wings, au gratin potatoes and cabbage/ collards mix. The food presentation and taste were DELISH!! The restaurant is beautiful on both the outside/inside!

I’ve visited The Urban Oyster twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, the service has been consistently warm and welcoming. Huge shoutout to my servers, Erica and Emani — both were incredible and made each visit feel special. The food is always delicious, and I can’t get enough of the volcano oysters — they’re a must-try! And if you go, do yourself a favor and order the passion fruit lemon drop… it’s perfection. Thank you to The Urban Oyster team for the amazing service, great food, and an all-around fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Tried The Urban Oyster for the first time this summer at the Ekiben Night Market and loved their grilled oysters, so I popped into their Hampden location for an early Thursday happy hour. Even before the rush, you can feel why this is a go-to spot. The vibe is instantly inviting with various ocean-inspired details, with a huge oyster mural outside, and coastal art throughout. There’s a dining room and a lively bar area; I grabbed a quick bar seat and ordered a passion fruit mocktail plus their deviled eggs topped with fried oyster fritters. A fun twist and really tasty. The menu has a lot I want to come back for. I had dinner plans elsewhere this time, but I wanted to finally check out the restaurant; and I’m glad I did. The Urban Oyster gives great energy, friendly service, and a strong
