The fact that there is a coffee and baked goods paradise being run out of a converted camper on the shore of lake Superior says it all. A destination in and of itself the Ugly fish is a completely magical spot. The pasty and sausage rolls were delicious. Getting a latte out here is a luxury I definitely didn't sleep on. Visited two days in a row and the owner, Ellen, remembered our names. Don't forget to check out the gift shop. Will return again every time we are able! Thank you Uglyfish

Fun and funky with delicious baked goods. We snagged and excellent cinnamon raisin bread fresh from the oven fig $8 and a cinnamon roll. Perfect place to stock up for a breakfast, or drop by for a coffee and a treat.

Our cinnamon rolls were wonderful and iced lattes!! The 7 layer bar was our favorite thing we tried.

You absolutely need to make a stop here! It’s not every day you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and stumble upon a hidden gem like this. The service is quick, and the staff are genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better. What a great spot! We didn’t expect to find such great coffee along our drive in the UP, but the google reviews suggested this place was worth a visit. Not only did we have the awesome coffee we were stopping for, but we also left with a loaf of sourdough bread and some green beans from a local farm (our review is a bit belated - this was a couple of months ago). The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of places we should consider visiting on our trip. Highly recommend stopping here!
