Newberry Coffee Company

They were pretty busy Saturday morning. The barista made excellent drinks I recommend the banana bread latte. This place had a relaxing atmosphere and such a cute inside to sit and drink your coffees!

It's official... I've died and gone to heaven! Look what I found at the new coffee shop in Newberry! Pumpkin spice and maple sour cream cupcake with maple and cinnamon cream cheese frosting topped of by a cute, wee little pancake... And if that's not enough, it comes with your very own, squeezable, single-serving vial of pure Michigan Maple Syrup to drizzle over the whole concoction! Ohhhhhhh....sooooooo..tasty!!! 😋 But wait... there's also a secret surprise hiding inside 😉 (and I'm not telling what it is... 🤫 You'll have to stop in and get one of your very own to find out 😛)

We had the pleasure of stopping here on our way back home. What a great place! Several rooms to mingle or cuddle up with your laptop and a cup of joe. The staff is so sweet and helpful and they genuinely cared about what the customers wanted. We loved everything about this great coffee shop except one thing - the flavor of the lattes - like the black forest cherry or the banana (bread?) were really bland and had mostly a flavor of sweet milk. They were not bad, just lacking flavor. But the cortado they made was excellent. I can’t express enough how much we loved the atmosphere and the people who worked here! We will be back because they make a great cortado and it’s a very comfortable place to be. The pastries looked amazing but we didn’t have time to try them.

Warm and inviting coffee shop with AH-MAZING signature lattes! The Newberry latte (raspberry white chocolate) was so good! Omelets made to order and fresh muffins made our quick stop breakfast filling for a morning hike at the falls. This is a new coffee shop with Mexican restaurant attached that opens in the evening. The owner stopped and talked with us and the girls behind the counter were friendly and made great coffee.

We stopped on our way to Marquette, so glad we did. I got an iced cookie butter latte with soy and cold foam. My husband got a hot Black Forest latte. Both were delicious and worth the stop! Great little addition to a town we would otherwise pass by.
