Customer Reviews
The french only soup was good, but definitely not the best around like they claim in the menu. Not even in the top 5. The jalapeño poppers were pretty good. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious and we enjoyed the fresh cut fries. The prime rib sandwich was disappointing, especially since they claim to be famous for it. It was chewy and dry.
First time here. The atmosphere was definitely like a home town tavern. The service was very good. The food was excellent. I had the French onion soup which was hot and tasty. I also had the turkey hoagie. Which was a decent size with good amount of meat and cheese on it. The beer was cold and they were very accommodating with putting on the flyers game for us on one of their many tvs. I will definitely be checking this place out again.
I always have so much fun when I go to the Trappe Tavern because it's an excitement in the atmosphere where people are engaged in conversations laughing but not over the top drunk The food is good and there's people from all walks of life there just enjoying themselves and their family as a lot of games playing on the TVs around. I've had several dishes when I was there a wedge salad to French onion soup I've had the nachos burgers everything is always so good and fresh. The portion sizes are large and the service is excellent. Staff are kind helpful and friend. Prices are reasonable. And there's always a great local beer selection which they let you test before you order. There's plenty of free parking, some outdoor seating, and a little beach area in the back.
It was our first time eating here. They offer great food and service. My wife and I both had prime rib sandwiches (photos) of varying size, and they were exceptional. Needless to say we both had a great dining experience. I'm sure we'll be back here soon to perhaps try many other offerings on the fairly extensive menu. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
Today is my nieces birthday and we just had a blast here, celebrating her special day! Staff is incredibly friendly and fun… And I really love the atmosphere… It reminds me of the shore… It’s got that tropical feeling about it… And the food was very good… But the sweet potato fries were a bit over done… And the breaded mushrooms, ( even though they were tasty)… we’re a bit of a disappointment. Because you bite into this puffy mushroom and it’s a little tiny mushroom inside… What? That’s nuts! The Irish nachos was sort of unusual and interesting. But ,overall , it was a enjoyable experience.
