The Toucan Restaurant

As someone who’s been ordering from here for the past few years, after today I would never order from here again. The quantity and quality of food has been decreasing for the past year, but it was still decent enough and enjoyable enough for me to order every now and again. Today, we ordered the Carne Asada and guacamole, which we’ve ordered many times in the past, and I honestly can’t believe this came from the same place. The beans are just barely cooked, and not made the way they usually are. They also have zero seasoning. The steak also is extremely flavorless, when it’s typically well seasoned and good. I used to really like this place but this was what the $20 birria tacos we payed for looked like.. this was pathetic. My “steak” burrito could’ve been called vegan it was all beans and rice. My girlfriend was upset we didn’t just go to chipotle… such a shame. Will never go back

I stopped in for dinner and had a great experience. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, which immediately made me feel welcome. I ordered the slow-cooked beef tacos (birria), and they were absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and packed with rich, authentic taste. Even the rice on the side was wonderful. Overall, a really warm, enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be coming back

was in the area the other day and passed by the toucan, the food was delicious. super authentic latin/hispanic food and they have a decent amount of vegan/vegetarian options as well. me and my group were very satisfied with everything and the price point was reasonable as well. will be stopping by again soon!

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. I stopped in and got a Taco platter to go. I was absolutely blown away by the authentic flavors and freshness of all the ingredients. The Taco platter included 2 steak, 2 chicken , 2 shrimp and 2 fish tacos. My favorite was the steak. It was so tender and seasoned perfect. Came with sides of sauce and I got some fries and fried plantains as well. I will be back to eat in restaurant and get the full presentation of other dishes as they all looked amazing.
