Sub Shack & Deli

Hey friends! I was scrolling through TikTok and saw a couple raving about the sandwiches at Sub Shack & Deli in Hackettstown, NJ. I had to check them out last Friday. They are a corner deli (not a sit-down deli). They are cash only business but they have an ATM inside. Guys the best freaking corn beef, pastrami sandwiches I have ever eaten. They put 1/2 pound of meat on their sandwiches. Their Italian subs are either 8" or 16"'s with tons of cold cuts. The best thing about is that they are affordable with being a great value. Everyone is really friendly. Will definitely have them on a weekly repeat.

Had the Hackettstown which is roast beef, corn beef, Swiss, lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing. The sandwich was piled high with meat. Tasty and great price. Service was fast. The store front is small and has no seats, like a small deli.

Everything is awesome! There's a reason they've been in open for 40+ years. Never disappointed when we order from them.

The absolute best sub sandwiches I have ever consumed! We have ordered their sandwich platters for neighborhood block parties they were delicious and our neighbors loved them. I have tried all of their signature subs and The Round is my favorite….generous amounts of turkey, roast beef, corned beef, ham, and swiss complimented with russian dressing lettuce and tomatoes on the perfect sub roll. These huge subs are assembled right in front of you by very kind ladies and gentlemen. I ordered the humongous large version and will get 2-3 meals out this one sandwich. My family loves this little piece of heaven at the Subshack in Hackettstown NJ home of Mars Candies.

Fantastic sandwich with the ingredients piled high at an excellent price. One of these sandwiches is easily $12-$15 at another deli
