The Tipsy Trout

We were hungry after doctors appointment and find this nice place to eat and drink beers. If wasn’t cold outside we could’ve sat outside looking the river. Food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved going here! The food and service were great. The outdoor dining next to the river was so enjoyable too. Highly recommend the shrimp and polenta starter. Everything else was delicious too

Hard to beat the vibe of this place. Right on the river in the wonderful town of Basalt. Couldn't be more perfect! Food is good too!

A local gem! One of our favorite places when visiting the RF valley. I always get the trout and it’s always delicious! Bison stroganoff and elk burger are our two other favorites. Trout pate is a must! Great selection of local beers. If you are looking for good local food and atmosphere, look no further.
