The Hoffmann House

Ok so this is first time I’ve ever reviewed an in hotel restaurant. You need to make sure this place is on your visit list. Even if you aren’t staying at this hotel. Yes. Seriously that good. We had Sophie as our server and she had some great recommendations. The short rib bolognese was better than some Italian high end places. It was a fresh and light and the way the short rib was prepared ensured that you got some in each bite. We also got the meat lovers pizza and it was freshly prepared. Great toppings and a crispy thin crust.

Our visit to the Hoffman Restaurant inside the Hilton Hoffman Hotel was nothing short of exceptional — truly a 10/10 experience across the board. From the moment we sat down, the service, food, and atmosphere exceeded expectations. Our server, Deb, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drink offerings. She made great recommendations and ensured everything about our meal was perfect. We started with the buffalo wings, which had the ideal balance of flavor and spice — easily some of the best we’ve had. For our entrées, the salmon was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the New York strip was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly to order. We stayed at the Hoffman and we ate at the bar the first night and Shawna and Alex took great care of us. We came back again and same great experience and the wings were definitely one of the best. I eat wings at many places when I travel for work and this place has the best wings by far. Thanks Alex and Shawna for such a great experience.

Horrible experience. I waited for quite a while, and when I stepped away to use the restroom—after telling the manager—I came back to find my table had been given away. The waiter saw me sitting there but never acknowledged me or checked in. I waited about 30 minutes before finally leaving, and no one even offered water. For a restaurant that presents itself as upscale, especially during Christmas weekend, you’d expect much better organization and service. Unfortunately, this was disappointing from start to finish. There are definitely better options elsewhere that are close by.

The braised short ribs is amazing, it was so tender and soft it falls apart in your mouth. Pretty sure you don’t even need teeth to eat it. Shawna was amazing!
