🍽️ The Tavern Grill – Arden Hills Review We were headed to our car club meeting at the VFW, only to find the place wall-to-wall packed with bingo night. Audible groans. Fortunately, my wife spotted The Tavern Grill just down the road—and that detour turned out to be the highlight of the evening. Atmosphere: Comfortable, polished, and welcoming without trying too hard. Exactly what you want when Plan A falls apart. We were seated quickly and could actually relax and enjoy a meal instead of hovering with plates in our hands. What we ordered: Chicken Saltimbocca (my wife): An Italian classic done right—and let’s be honest, when prosciutto (Italian bacon) shows up to the party, it’s already leaning in your favor. Nice, local spot with comfy seating and classic food. My favorites were the sesame chicken sticks and the jalapeño sauce - super good shareable and could have just ordered it as a main. Laid back team and walk ins available when we went ( it was 2pm on a Saturday) Perfect lunch place and the patio in the summer is always packed!

Lower carb option🔥The Sesame Chicken Sticks - really good. Also had a Steak Cobb Salad and both were solid. Service was good, easy parking, fast seating. Support Local Small Business 🦉❤️🫡 This is really close to our small business Owl Roofing, so we come by for lunch and stuff with the team, the people are super nice and we’re grateful for the service and the good food :)

Really enjoy this restaurant! I’ve been here twice and both times the food, service, and atmosphere have been excellent. I had the build-your-own burger on a pretzel bun and a cosmo from the bar, both were fabulous. The server, Austin, was attentive and friendly, and manager Jen even stopped by to check in, which was a nice touch. I also met a few other staff members and everyone was welcoming and helpful. I sat inside at a comfortable booth, but the patio also looks like a great option. Highly recommend!

Due to proximity, Tavern is my go to place for American fare close to home. The portions are genrerons, the staff is competent, the atmosphere is nice and the service is fast. They are very accommodating. The patio is great in the summer .
