The Taproom at Crust Pizza

Casual solo Monday happy hour ended up being $18/local craft beer and a personal pizza. The normal price of $20 per beer cant be justified, even a 22oz. Better prices in Vegas or anywhere else in the world. Service was good, although seems short staffed and took a while initially, and pizza was reasonable. Can't get over that beer price though. Wouldn't have ordered if I knew what a scam it was. Make it make sense.

Pizza is good, nothing special but honestly a solid deal. Similar to a MOD Pizza in ability to stack a ton of toppings and customize a build-your-own pie. What sets this apart is the Taproom space where you can bring order your pizza and enjoy a cold beer while watching sports. Plenty of good beer options to choose from and great service. You wouldn't know the place is open from the front entrance - it looks dark and closed - but you can walk in or enter from the main restaurant.

Listen, y'all.....if yuns are ever, ever in Lake Charles, LA, i highly recommend you stop and grab you some drinks and food! This place is phenomenal!! I happened up on it by accident, and I must say it's been a very, very happy accident! I ended up stopping by the next night to grab a pizza for the long road back to Ohio.

I have been to Taproom many times, and each time is a consistent good experience. Food - the food is Italian quick service themed, specializing in custom pizzas. Seemingly endless ways to make your personal pizza you can’t go wrong with any combination. Fresh ingredients, and service is quick. Drinks - as the name suggests many on tap beers to choose from. With some seasonal rotations, they also offer some in bottles. Cocktails are very fresh and prepared with care. They look just as amazing as they taste delicious.
