Absolutely unbelievably good! The baked chicken with rice dressing was so good, I was back the next day for chicken and dumplings. When I tell you I have no idea what they did to the corn to make it taste like that, I mean it's out of this world! Not a big place, has two 4 top tables. Lunches are mostly for takeout and they are huge servings.

My name is Ben Meyers. My wife Novia and I and our sister Mandy were treated to a fantastic experience of learning to make gumbo by Stacy, the owner of t-Pot Noir restaurant. Stacy put on a 3 hour class on making her famous gumbo starting with the roux and everything else! The experience was 2nd to none! Stacy is a tireless pro chef who makes everything hard look doable for us non cooking folks. She is a great host, an accomplished teaching chef, and a master of the gumbo dish. We had so much fun. We had gone duck and goose hunting in the morning and the afternoon cooking lesson was a perfect ending to a great day in South-West Louisiana. and the gumbo was fantastic!
