Visiting Rexburg & decided to try them out for a late breakfast. Breakfast served all day on Saturdays! Atmosphere: 11am it was empty, we were able to ask the friendly guy at the counter questions, & placed our order. Loved the jazz music playing! Beautiful old blue & white tile, nice simple decor, tables & counter seating. Food: We got 2 Grilled Ham & Cheese, Sausage Egg & Cheese sandwich (on Jalepeño Cheddar!), & fresh flavored lemonades. Everything was DELICIOUS! And HUGE sandwiches - thick, generous slices of homemade goodness! I took 1/2 of my sandwich to go - it was a 2nd meal on the road. The Jalapeño Cheddar bread was amazing… wish I’d bought a loaf! We couldn’t resist getting a cinnamon roll & a sticky bun to go, but I couldn’t leave without tasting the bun. Heaven in my mouth!
The food is delicious! I had the sausage egg and cheese sandwich as I saw. Lot of good reviews for it and it did not disappoint! The sandwich is very big and the materials were all sourced locally. I also got 2 pancakes and those were even bigger than the sandwich! Each pancake is about the size of a small pizza and they are pretty thick. If you are ordering to go, make sure to ask for extra syrup because the little cup they give you for each one doesn’t come even close to enough. The service was alright, but this is definitely a gem for breakfast.
It is my daughter's new favorite cafe. The bread is amazingly delicious. The atmosphere is fabulous. The soup and sandwich were a perfect combo. The cinnamon roll was a feast with just the right amount of sweetness. I had a chance to speak with the owner and she is the type of woman that leaves you feeling inspired. It's a good place to go for good food and good people.
The place is clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The main problem is I believe the woman working behind the counter does not want the customers to ask for anything. Getting a 2nd cup of coffee is like pulling teeth. Asking for sugar packets should be a simple request. Not Here! When you ask for them you get attitude. Asking for anything outside of ordering your meal feels bothersome. Good breakfast sandwich and good cream for coffee. Just don’t ask for extra creamer. Or ask for anything. Other than the food being good it is like JAIL. You don’t ask for anything or you get your food taken away.
Stopped here on the way to Yellowstone. The warm sandwiches were good and we took cinnamon rolls and a pecan/pumpkin cake to go. The cinnamon rolls were great and the cake was the best we’ve ever tasted!
