The Sunset Inn

My friend and I wanted to enjoy a low key chill beach to break up our camping trip in the mid-Southeast of the US. This was the perfect place to do it. The Inn is perfectly situated on a small island next to the intercoastal waterway. A six minute walk East and we're at a beautiful beach with soft, fluffy sand. The beach was clean, the vibe was remarkably relaxing. Sunset Inn does a fabulous job keeping the place clean and not a hint of mold. The room is spacious, the balcony was large and screened in. I watched the egrets from there. We slept so well and had a truly wonderful time.

Lovely weekend stay at the Sunset Inn. Very peaceful. Feels like one is going back in time. Great location to access the Ocean Isle Beach races this past weekend. Staff very friendly and helpful.||Very clean. View of the salt marsh is great! Would recommend at least one glass window panel which could open so one could take a photograph. Didn't work through the screen. ||Loved the rocking chairs!

We own a home on the island that is being renovated so we wanted to visit and see how it is coming along. This was our first time staying at the Sunset Inn. It was very comfortable and clean and well kept up. The room was nicely decorated and the staff was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Gem of a hotel in Sunset Beach. Rooms are unique but each has a view of the marsh. Short distance to the beach. Really nice linens - sheets and towels! Very nice staff experience keeping it personal but also low key. We'll be back!

My wife and I actually won a free night stay here and for them to donate something like that really says a lot for them already. We arrived later in the evening and we ran into the lady at the front desk when we were walking to our room and were greeted. The room was very inviting and probably the cleanest room I’ve ever been in that was near the ocean. Normally the humidity is a lot to fight around these areas but not a hint of mold or anything like that. The sleep was comfortable and the next morning we went to the office/gathering area for coffee and breakfast. We talked to her again and she was very pleasant. Anything less than 5 stars, I would think these people may be talking about another place. Thank you guys for the stay and we will be back!!
