A Class Act and Unforgettable Evening We chose La Cucina Italian Restaurant in Sunset Beach, NC, to celebrate my in-laws’ anniversary—a date filled with warmth and gentle sorrow, as we lost my father-in-law 11 years ago. It was more than a meal; it was deeply meaningful. The evening began wonderfully with La Cucina’s irresistible garlic bread. Our entrees were equally outstanding. My mother-in-law and I enjoyed the hearty Baked Stuffed Shells Bolognaise. My husband loved the flavorful rich, creamy Shrimp Gorgonzola, my sisters-in-law loved the zesty Homemade Italian Sausage and Shrimp Ala Vino. What truly elevated our evening was our server, Karina. I'm super impressed with this place! I ordered the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine and it was cooked to perfection. The pleasant ambiance of this place makes the atmosphere perfect. My waiter, Tommy, was very friendly and attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. However I recommend you make a reservation because it will be a wait but it's sooooo worth it! I dare say La Cucina is a true gem over by the Carolina coast!

A friend recommended we come for dinner after visiting the Planetarium. The service was great. The food was good & ample sized portions. The salads were just 'Ok'. My only complaint was the smell of the fresh parmesan cheese. It was too strong for me, but my husband was fine with it.

Food was great. Well tried the baked stuffed shells, spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken Alfredo. Malaki was very presentable and very friendly! The layout of the place was pretty cool and very quiet. I especially appreciate the dim lighting. Very nice vibes! Will be back!

This was the best, most authentic Italian food I’ve ever had! You will never be able to return to “Italian” like Olive Garden again after having this! The bread was amazing and the pasta was perfect. I will be back for sure! The kids meals were huge, they lasted my kids 3-4 meals each. My husband said it was hands down the best lasagna he’s ever eaten. You need a reservation but they got us in right away since we got there right as they opened.
