The Stockyard Restaurant and Bar

The food was fabulous! I was really surprised how good it was and the presentation was wonderful. The owner came to my table, he is super friendly, and I told him it was my first time at his restaurant. I asked him what I should order and he called the waitress over and ordered something special for me. I could not have had a better experience. I had the Sea Bass over dirty rice, asparagus, sauteed green beans, and blackened shrimp. Don't forget to order the fried banana peppers. They were phenomenal!

What a great meal. Brad, the owner, came over to our table and spoke with us several times. This guy lives and loves his business. Great food and great service. Go do business with someone who appreciates you.

Enjoyed dinner tonight with friends. The steak and salmon was grilled to perfection. Side dishes were delicious too. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day. Owner dropped by our table twice to welcome and check on us. Our waitress was great as well. Swainsboro is lucky to have such a great place to dine.

3 of 4 people we asked for a restaurant recommendation suggested The Stockyard. Staff was very friendly. We started with the fried peppers and crab dip. Peppers were awesome but the crab dip didn't have any crab flavor. She had the pork chop which was very flavorful but tough to cut. I had the crab cakes which didn't have much crab flavor. The beer and wine were good. We would definitely go back but try different menu items.

Had a family meet up and found the stockyard through google. Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and the aroma was fantastic. We tried the duck wontons, fried banana peppers, crab soup and had salads, tacos and blackened shrimp. All were prepared perfectly. We plan to go back and would highly recommend stopping by and trying this restaurant!
