Great place, love bringing family and friends here. The food was excellent, I enjoyed the mixed kebab platter and chicken lollipop especially. The Indo-Chinese dishes also hit the spot! The owner, Austin, was also was very caring and respectful. Super funny guy, and great place. Totally worth a trip.

I recently visited The Spice Room in Elmwood Park, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine with a modern, welcoming vibe, this is the place to be. The Food: We started with the Gobi Manchurian (or perhaps the Chilli Cauliflower), which had the perfect balance of spice and tang—highly addictive! For the main course, the Paneer Butter Masala was incredibly rich and creamy, pairing perfectly with the fluffy Basmati Rice. You can’t go wrong with their bread; the Butter Naan was warm, soft, and had that perfect slight char from the tandoor. To wash it all down, the Mango Lassi was thick, fresh, and the perfect sweet contrast to the spices. The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself is beautiful. I loved the deep blue accent walls and th

We got to the restaurant on Valentine's Day at around 8, and it was an hour before we were seated. The restaurant had more take out orders than one can imagine. The restaurant space is small so there are fewer tables but it was still overwhelming for the staff. I hope they had more staff. I did like that we had to wait so long but the owner was extremely polite and cognizant that the wait was not ideal. I must say though the noodles and Manchurian was so worth the wait. I absolutely love good Indo Chinese, and so very few restaurants actually know how to make it. I wasn't huge fan of curry but as I said just the noodles are absolutely worth for me. The naan was flavorful, and gulab jamun were very good in taste. I hope they put on some better ways of reservations and handling takeouts as

The food overall was pretty good, but the spicy tikka masala wasn’t spicy at all, which was disappointing. Most of the dishes also arrived warm instead of hot. We asked for chai masala, hot sauce, and fried rice, but all were forgotten at first—we eventually had to ask the owner/manager directly just to get the fried rice. On the positive side, the bread was excellent. I highly recommend the spicy garlic naan. The water tasted great, and the atmosphere was truly outstanding: very formal, elegant, and clean, with crisp white tablecloths and well-kept restrooms. Once it finally arrived, the fried rice was delicious. The menus were creative and genuinely impressive. With a little improvement in service and attention to orders, this place could easily be exceptional.

Amazing Indo-Chinese food with perfect flavors! The Salt n pepper shrimp and Hakka Noodles were incredibly tasty, and the portions were generous. Friendly service and great value for money. Highly recommend—will definitely be back!
