Had the bacon jalapeño cheesesteak here and it was amazing. My dad had their hot dogs with spicy onions and hasn’t stopped talking about them well. My brother also tried their Taylor ham egg and cheese which looked crazy! If you want one of the best cheesesteaks in NJ I would 100% recommend stopping in.

Fantastic! Thursday, lunch, we had 2 hot dogs with chili. The dogs were deep fried to “ripper” perfection and the chili atop was divine (we wanted ti dive into a vat of that heavenly chili, MAN!) We also ordered the L & M Smashburger WOWZA! The crust on that burger, house made sauce and toppings on the pillowy fresh Martin’s Potato Roll OUTTA THIS WORLD AWESOME!! We had a bottle of Boylan’s and a fresh, fruity strawberry shake, very delicious. There is free parking on the street and three tables (no seating) if you want to eat in (with plenty condiments available if you’d like) You’ll love the food and the service 20/10 HURRY! So good!

Food was absolutely delicious! We drove for a little under an hour to try this place out and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and the fries with cheese and gravy are a must try!! They even have birch beer on tap/fountain, which is super hard to find! The service was also great!

I was in the area and remembered seeing this place on some platform and had to stop by. The guys working the counter were friendly and prompt and the place is clean to the point of being almost sterile. Got the pastrami melt and cheese steak and while not the greatest thing ever, for the price, serving size, and taste, it is pretty darn good. The rib eye on the cheese steak was especially good, wished I had gotten some hot peppers with it to cut the fat on the cheese though. The pastrami was also very good, better than most places around me for sure. Wanted to try the steak and fries but I was taking it in a away bag and wasnt sure how the foos with hold up on a 30 min. drive. All in all a good place for some comfort food if in the area, not sure if its worth the drive unless youre eat

The burgers and dogs are hands-down winners—exactly the kind of comfort food you crave and the reason most people come here. The chili and relish are made in house and I would buy in bulk. I also tried a few other gems on the menu: the cheese steak was incredible. The Garden State Stack hit all the right notes—simple, classic, and delicious. And the steak fries—easily my favorite item on the menu. If you’re in Elmwood Park and hungry, this spot is a must-visit. Great food, great flavors.
