Step into old fashioned southern charm, uniquely displaying candy store antiques! Lots of souvenirs, T shirts and candies. Known for the hand made fudge (daily-made)! I sampled numerous Fall fudge: pumpkin cheesecake, maple walnut.. so many to choose from and was hosted by the lovely Candy-chef!
Located at 627 State Street Bristol, Va Ice cream was the perfect treat before taking in a show at the Paramount. I loved the Amarillo Cherry Ice Cream and my husband loved the Carolina Peach in a waffle cone. There was a good variety of flavors to choose from. The shop was full of sweet treats such as the homemade fudge and individually-wrapped candies. Southern Churn is a must stop when taking a break from shopping downtown or to satisfy the sweet tooth
This is a fabulous ice cream and fudge shop. The flavors cover a wide assortment, and they have seasonal flavors that rotate. Everything tastes like they are homemade and from scratch, and you couldn't ask for better prices for the top quality offerings. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating, offering samples to help you decide. I ended up getting their 6 scooper, which was under 10 dollars. The environment is family friendly, and there are a ton of cool toys and other types of candy and knick knacks you can take to go on the road. 5 Stars 🌟 Rating
Great old time candy shoppe vibe. It was very cute, the staff was very friendly. There were a lot of us and they were very accommodating. They have “penny candy” (not truly but iykyk) home made chocolates and fudge and delicious ice cream. I had the lemon cheesecake and Tennessee toffee they were both delicious. Tried the banana pudding ice cream which was also very good. Ton of great flavors and single scoop is only 3.70 hard to choose! Check them out you are sure to love it.
Delicious ice cream and reasonably priced. Great flavor selection and super nice ladies working there! 10 out of 10 will definitely be back
