The Smashed Olive

While visiting family in the area, we headed out for dinner. The Smashed Olive was a good choice. Our selections were tasty, yet could have been better. The service was great and the atmosphere was warm and quiet. Expect to pay a bit extra while dining here versus other places.

We came here for our anniversary dinner- it was spectacular! My husband got the Tuscan Shrimp and I got the Braised Beef Short Ribs. Both were just perfect. Soup of the day was beef stew and it was delicious and flavorful but light. Service was so friendly! We can’t wait to come back.

We were driving through and found this on Google. We were impressed with the delicious grilled octopus salad, the short rib ragu and the pescatore pasta. All the seafood was perfectly cooked, not overdone and absolutely wonderful. We are still dreaming about going back. Service and ambience was also great. We will be back for sure!

The Smashed Olive is my absolute favorite place to eat! I have never had a meal I did not love. The wings, meatballs and octopus for appetizers are great picks. The Pizza's, Smashed Burger and Fish and Chips are my faves! They always offer unique specials. The Peanut Butter Explosion and Better than Nonna's Cake are to die for! You can eat healthy or splurge because they have an extensive menu. Their Gluten Free Menu is the best I have ever seen and tried and I have heard this from many other people I know that need to eat Gluten free. I adore all the servers, they are attentive, helpful and always warm, friendly and smiling! It is very cozy inside. My husband and I love sitting at the bar and by far they make the BEST drinks! Went for a late lunch on a Sunday. Smashed Olive is cozy friendly place. Service was great and proceeded to have the best Gluten free pizza I ever had. I don't eat pizza often, so it was truly a treat. Also appreciated the Gluten free only menu and Vegetarian only menu to make informed ordering decisions.
