Customer Reviews
Disappointing food but great service and desserts. I wanted to try this place for a while, and i decided to do that on Valentine’s Day. The service was great, Sara(h) was very helpful and nice. The food generally was disappointing. The Cesar salad sauce was so salty and I am someone who always add salts to his food. The lobster bisque (not so bisque) was also very salty and the flavors weren’t a good mix. The main dish (steak) was okay but it came with a lot of the steak cooking sauce in the plate. The best thing were the desserts (5 stars). The baklava cheesecake was mouthwatering and very delicious with smooth mixed flavors. I also didn’t like the additional 3% extra fee for restaurant increased cost! The prices are already high. Overall disappointing for the prices charged.
I can’t believe it took me months to get to the salt marsh!! Wow - everything was fantastic. The menu is way more approachable than expected and the cocktail menu is impressive. If you haven’t been yet, definitely make it a priority!
The food is pretty good, it's just not for the price and portion size. Our waitress also couldn't tell us the difference in the wines we were looking at, said she'd send someone over, then just told us to order a random one- which was fine, but not special. I'm assuming it's a crowd pleaser, I just like very specific types of wine. It's worth going to for sure if you have a lot of money, and a few hundred dollars is nothing for you. Loved their regular 3.5 oyster option, INCREDIBLE. and great unique takes on classic dishes. Desserts were also incredible, best part of the meal especially the strawberry ice cream and compote on the basque cheesecake. Might be the same fruit "syrup" that was on the lobster leek dumplings - and the rolls were the best I might have ever had, texture-wise, and
Food was SO good! Insanely creative, unique dishes and cocktail menu!! We went with Foie Gras (yum!) and then the Spaghetti Pomodoro for my meal and a glass of red the server suggested. We also had the house made rolls which were delicious. The dessert menu looked amazing but have to go back was too full. Staff was great, vibes were cool. Going back when there is live music with friends on Sunday for brunch!
This place is amazing! Delicious food, yummy drinks - you can’t go wrong with what you order. From the apps, entrees, dessert and even brunch, everything is a must try! I highly recommend this place!
