The Rusty Pig BBQ

Didn't want to give this little place a 5 because the food was good, not an ah ha moment. This was my first time eating here. We had pork plate with brunswick stew and beans. The meat was on the cool side, not hot. We took the plate bake and they replaced it with hot meat. Why wouldn't that be a priority before served? The serving size of the pullled pork was plentiful. The beans were ok, slaw was delicious and the fries were good. The lady st the counter was super duper sweet!!! Speaking of sweat, the tea was sweet and delicious 😋

This is a $20 brisket plate. The top of the Pic is the fat trimmed from the actual meat. Not worth the $20! This has happened before, and once again they dont know how to separate the tip from the flat. You end up with stringy meat. Geez you're a BBQ place, at least learn how to cut brisket.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Rustys tonight. Food was delicious and came out fast! Huge fan of their fried okra, mac n cheese, and Brunswick stew! We grabbed a few desserts to go on our way out and they are phenomenal! By far the best part of our experience was the wonderful staff working tonight. Lillian and Ethan were exceptional! They both checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so sweet and truly made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend especially if Lillian and Ethan are working!

Best BBQ on this side of town. Mouth watering down home cooking. They also provide food and delivery for Georgia Pacific . Very professional and extremely nice staff.

Placed an online order for 2 Brisket plates, 1 with an add on of Ribs. Total after tax was a few cents shy of $60 for 2 meals including 2 sides. Received an email confirmation of the time to pick up my food. After arriving I had to wait an additional 30 minutes before my order was ready. No apologies or updates while waited. One lady who was there before me was still waiting for her food when I left. The disappointment didn’t end there. When I got home from the 10 minute drive the fries were cold and soggy. The Brisket, although it tasted good, was mostly fat which left little meat that could be eaten. The Ribs were also mostly fat as well. I realize prices have gone up everywhere but I could have had a sit down steak meal for less money. Definitely not worth $60 for 2 people.
