By far, the best service I've had in a restaurant in 20 years. We went here based on reviews while renting a cabin nearby. Amazing food, amazingly service and the kindest wait staff. The food is prepared with care and heart, it's obvious. Not your average meals, they put their own flair on it and creativity is apparent. I honestly can't believe service like this exists anymore. They prepared me the best, most well presented hot chocolate ever and the blueberry cheesecake was the best I've ever had. I ordered a combination of two things on the menu with a slight twist and they did not hesitate to accommodate. The kitchen staff even confirmed what I wanted themselves. It was spot on. If you're in the area, you will not want to miss stopping in! This is what a restaurant should be lik
Stopped in for lunch while taking a lesirely Sunday ride. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The decor was very eclectic. Our waitress Lex was very attentive and provided good service. The best part was the delicious food. We had burgers and a Reuben sandwich which all came with a side. Very nice experience overall.
Two words - Hippie Hash! We visited while staying at a cabin in the area. I read other reviews about the hash so we had to try it. It was unbelievably delicious. Seriously. Try it! My husband got a Philly and thought it was excellent. My salad was great. The restaurant has a bit of a diner atmosphere. Katie was an attentive and welcoming server. The restroom was clean and a staff person replaced the empty soap right away. A quaint restaurant in a quiet little Ohio town. Definitely worth a visit!
A hidden gem. Don't miss this homey spot! Every item we tried was made from scratch and very tasty. Cheesesteak sandwich was delicious and stuffed with meat, cheese and veggies. Great with the house-made smokey mayo! Burgers are large and juicy. Don't forget dessert... blueberry cheesecake was great. Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The owner is very hands-on and sets high standards. We will dine here any time we are in the area. Worth the 20 minute drive if staying at the state park and much better prices than the lodge.
Absolutely fantastic food, service and an absolute joy to sit on the porch with farm tractors, bikers and locals driving by in a true small town atmosphere! Laurelville has a LOT to offer and it was so nice to spend Mother's Day there with family! The donuts are made on site, the bourbon chicken and rice is to die for, and the poppy burger and BLT on rye were both excellent. They were slammed with a full parking lot and restaurant, yet our food was HOT! I am only 30 mins away and WILL be back!!!!!
