Mam’s Rusted Skillet

Found this place going out to Hocking Hills. Everything about this place was awesome. Our waitress was great, the food was delicious, and atmosphere was creative. They had playing cards at each table so instead of everyone on their phones we all were playing cards.

The staff was pleasant and fun. The food was tasty and messy in the best possible way. The burger was great, and the chicken queso sandwich was even better. The onion pedals, fried cheese curds, and fried mushrooms were awesome. Wings were good but not jumbo-sized. Pepsi soft drinks were available. The restaurant had a pleasant country feel and local hangout. These were the cleanest bathrooms we used on our whole trip.

First time visitor, the food was delicious, our server Laura was wonderful. The pulled pork sandwich was tender, and full of flavor. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and he said it was great. We'll definitely stop again when in the area.

Exactly what you want! I try to find a hidden gem, miles from any major road with off ramps. I couldn't be happier! The squatch burgers are impossible to eat as a burger, they have paper towels at the tables for a reason! Great great great waitresses!

Food tastes great, service and atmosphere are nice. The portions and pricing are just lacking. For $8 the kids got more than they could finish, but for $15 burgers without a side item the adults left hungry. Almost a $60 bill just to look for the nearest McDonald's after. Really nice place otherwise.
