The Rex Bistro & Dessert Bar

My partner and I wanted to switch up our breakfast routine and I found this place to try. It's a very cozy little place out in the farmland. Could easily fly under the radar but I'm very glad we stopped in! We came for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious, service was amazing, and the atmosphere is cozy. There is also an amazing selection of desserts and ice cream. We both took a tasty treat home to enjoy. They were saying that the nextdoor area will be opening up next week and we're definitely excited to come back for lunch/dinner in the new space.

Rex Bistro & Dessert Bar is a gem! Their gelato is insanely good — rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The scoops are huge (seriously the most generous in town!) and the staff are always so friendly. My new go-to spot for dessert when visiting Skagit Valley, hands down!🍨✨

Everything about this place is amazing! The dog park area is well maintained. The seating is great for both indoor and outdoor. Outdoor has heating/fireplaces. The food is INCREDIBLE. Anything you get to eat here will likely be the best you have ever had. Highly recommend the Italian Sandwich with Broccoli Cheddar soup. The Avocado Toast is HUGE and Delicious! Add the bacon, it’s prosciutto. The desserts are some of the best you will eat. Lemon blueberry cheesecake bars, salted caramel brownies, gelato, ice cream, pies, cookies, and more. They also serve breakfast items, beer and wine and incredible coffee and other beverages. MUST VISIT!!!

A Delightful Stop! I popped in for a quick bite and was so impressed! The service was excellent, and both the sandwiches and the homemade fudge brownie were absolutely delicious.
