Sahara Pizza - Mount Vernon

We ordered delivery from Sahara Pizza while staying in Mount Vernon. This regional chain really impressed us—our order arrived on time, the driver was friendly (even brought us a gummy pizza candy), and the pizzas were loaded with toppings and gooey cheese. Both the Sahara (combo) and the Maui Wowie (a Hawaiian twist with Alfredo sauce) were delicious with a perfectly crispy thin crust. As most-time RVers, we rate cheeseburgers and pizzas across the U.S. and Canada using our own scale: The Best (only one earns this title), Very Good, Good, OK, and Not Impressed. Sahara Pizza earned a solid Very Good, sitting just behind our #1 favorite in the country.

Been hearing about this place for a long time and decided to try them out. Great pizza, not that greasy and easy on the stomach. The crust is nice and thick. Ordered on the phone and picked up, no issues at all, guys behind the counter greeted us once we came in. We will come back for sure.

We were here from out of town so dining in at the small counter was our best option and it worked out fine. Counter service was friendly and helpful. We ordered an XL Sahara, an XL half-Northwest Territory half-Tiki Tiki with BBQ Chicken, and a personal size Hawaiian Passion. The Tiki Tiki and Sahara were stand out favorites but all were good!

This was an excellent pizza made with quality ingredients. It was fresh, it was hot, and the person at the front counter was pleasant and friendly. Also the website ordering experience was simple, easy, and fast. It could hardly have been a better experience. Thank you!

First, me and my friend walked in. And we saw the amazing menu. It took us about 5 minutes just to pick what we wanted. We ended up going with the extra large Pizza pepperoni, and we asked the workers how much the drinks were. And he said that a small bottle was 249, and a 2 l was $one more, and I thought that was a really good price. So everything ended up only being $28 for a extra large pepperoni Pizza and a 2 l. Which me and my friend roots? Thought it was a really good price. The service was really good and they treated us really good and he, the worker also showed us how the bags stay hot.And we thought it was really cool.But the pizza was really hot.That's why they're called the hottest place in town.And all in all, it was a great experience.The guy we met was really nice.All the wo
