The Quisenberry Library

Went to the smokey the bear kids presentation about preventing forest fires - was very informative and perfect for older and younger children. The forest rangers gave the presentation - included a story book reading about the real life smokey + a short animated movie, Q & A, and gift bags, with coloring sheets, stickers, tattoos, rulers, pencils sharpeners and craft activities for the children - as well a single file photo op with smokey after all was done. Was awesome and encouraging for the kids and adults. Online stated the presentation would be about 30 mins however after all was said and done the children interacted for over an hour with smokey & the rangers. Always love our time at the clinton library. My kids love storytime and dancing. They have a great selection of books and it has really helped my son become an avid reader!

I am a senior Quisenberry library is a wonderful place to visit, to study, to research and find everything that you need. Even to be able to fax important documents to other places. I appreciate the help that I’m always favored with, whenever I go there. Again, it is a wonderful place to visit and a wonderful place to take your children even though my children are grown. I would take them, especially to see the trail. It has a friendly atmosphere. , a good place to meditate and to seek out information. I thank the Staff at Quisenberry, for allowing us my group to visit there to use the study room and to make it convenient for us God bless you all. The workers here are quite rude in comparison to the other branches I've visited. I will not say all (yet) but the Caucasian male, definitely. We were there at 5 pm on a Tuesday. I tried to register my nephews for library cards and he was very uninterested in providing assistance. Very off-putting and his demeanor was very discouraging as if i was bothering him. We left w/o library cards this day. We will be back due to proximity to our home, but definitely will not be working with that guy.

Mr. Alston's story time is the best. Gets kids pumped up and off the floor. Mr. Alston gets so excited and just resonates with energy. My daughter loved it so much while I was living there and always asked to go see Mr. Alston. 10:00am Wed. Also have lots of seasonal get togethers for Valentine, Easter, Dr. Suess's birthday and much more.
