The Quaker Baker

We were out for a Sunday drive and saw this bakery. Soooo glad we stopped!!!! Great place!! Everything looked delicious!! Had egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Bread was so soft!! Perfect!! We had a blueberry muffin and a goat cheese and spinach pastry. Neither made it out of the parking lot!!! Spoke with the owner. Very nice to take time to talk!! Locally sourced ingredients used. Will definitely be back!!! Thank you for the bread!! Had some tonight!! Delicious!!!!

I stopped in today on the recommendation of a friend. I cannot thank her enough. The couple that run this adorable shop are not just bakers, they are artists! They use locally sourced flour and rhe texture that they achieve is beyond anything I have found in this area. The flaky texture of their puff pastry, the perfect crumb of their scones and the tenderness of the bagels shows that they take their time and are not mass producing a single item they make. I look forward to returning again to try more of the delicious items they make.

Every week i would look forward to going to quaker for their delicious pretzels. For the past two and half months, i have been extremely disappointed and let down when i walk in there i see there are no pretzels. I am constantly told that they will have them on fridays and when i go in they never do. then im told they will have them on saturday. i wouldn’t be upset if this wasn’t a reoccurring problem every week. i would rather them just tell me they do not sell them or make them anymore instead of giving me excuses every time. i really might stop going because they now have even less options and it seems to be less each week and even when i do get something they have out it seems to have been left out and does not have that “fresh” taste that it previously had.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Rewards program is a plus. Fresh baked goods. Great variety. Good location. Gift certificates available. Clean inside and outside.

Such a great bakery! Jake and Heather always come up with amazing new creations. Their cookie trays are fantastic, and we can’t get enough of their soft pretzels.
