The Pumpelly Estate Bed & Breakfast

Wonderful stay here! Historic mansion in a beautiful area replete with other stately homes from the late 19th through early 20th centuries. Proprietor Stephanie is attentive and gracious. Room was private, quiet and comfortable. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a very nice stay here at the Pumpelly House. The hosts were very nice and very welcoming. The room was beautiful along with the rest of the house. The grounds are very nice. The owners are still doing upgrades to the property everyday. We sat on the river last night on there porch. This is a beautiful place. Thanks to our host.

This is a bed and BREAKFAST? The bed and location parts were excellent. I even really appreciated that this establishment is close to Binghamton University. It was graduation weekend, and they did not jack up the rate. The breakfast part is NOT FRESH. Food items were provided to us that were MONTHS past the best used by dates. We ate unknowingly and ran to the bathroom a lot. When my wife brought it to the owner's attention, she got a text saying they freeze food to preserve it. Nothing was even offered to even resolve the situation. These items were out for at least 3 days. The non diary creamers, bagels, English muffins and pastries should not have been offered in that condition. There was also old food left in one of the fridges that smelled horrible. We loved our stay at the Pumpelly B&B where we stayed in the suite, which was charming and had many special touches. The inn was beautifully and warmly decorated, and offered a variety of no-host snacks and drinks. John and Stephanie were perfect hosts who were so engaging and accessible. It is a perfect location in a darling neighborhood which was about one half mile walking distance into town. They didn’t offer breakfast yet since they recently acquired the property, but plan to in the future-which will perfect this wonderful experience.

My sister Ronda and I stayed here .they made you feel right at home .this place is absolutely beautiful. The fireplace is warm and beautiful. They are so friendly. And They're restaurant. is fabulous .Great food !! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed ☺️
