Local restaurant in town. Service is amazing, which makes the food taste even better. Outdoor sitting area when available, but makes conversation magnificent when tightly close with the ones you're enjoying a meal with. Check them out.

The Promiscuous Fork is well-located in the Windansea neighborhood of La Jolla, just west of La Jolla High. Strengths include an easy going vibe, attentive and friendly staff, a sense of local community, decent parking , as well as a variety of dishes — and a most memorable business name. To be fair, I liked the food, and ordered the salmon bowl, but found there to be a bit too much rice. One personal suggestion would be for the rice to be less clumped up and fluffy. The tacos my companion ordered were similarly a little heavy on the rice side. Otherwise, a very good experience.

We've been coming to this restaurant every year during our annual CA vacation since 2013 (shortly after it opened). Many of the menu items haven't changed and why should they when they're so delicious. The flavors that result from their combination of ingredients are phenomenal. There is honestly nothing on this menu that isn't good. The place is immaculate, the service is the best, the ingredients are top shelf, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

My family eats here often. There’s good variety and the quality of food is great. Tonight, the chef came out to ask how I wanted my salmon cooked. He was so sweet. I always love my meals here, but tonight was especially delicious. Thank you!!! And the woman who works the counter taking orders is a fantastic face to the restaurant and so friendly to all guests. Highly recommend! Quick, excellent food with a chill vibe.
