The Prickly Palm

We were just visiting Cedar Key from Tampa for our anniversary. I got a coffee drink, while my wife got a the sunrise smoothie and a creme brulee latte. 🙂 They were all delicious. I highly recommend trying out the Prickly Palm anytime you're in Cedar Key!

Prickly Palm has become a quaint little Oasis of its own on the island. Great food, yummy drinks. A morning staple recently for our household. Definitely worth a visit.

What an eclectic find in Cedar Key. We noticed it due to the number of local golf carts, parked out front. If the locals like it, it must be good, we thought and it was. We were warmly greeted by Hannah the owner when we came through the door. The cafe definitely has the old Florida cracker house charm and feel with wood floors and exposed beam ceiling. They’re seating inside and out. The menu had a nice mix of breakfast and lunch items. Unfortunately, we just had lunch, but we did come back the next morning for a couple of lattes before we hit the road on the way out of town. I’d highly recommend it!

This Prickly Palm is a wonderful coffee and provisions truck in a cute spot with outdoor seating. We stopped in just for coffee but it was great and staff were very friendly!

We only had ice coffees which were good but a bit on the pricey side. Self service. They are currently operating out of a food truck. Cute level gravel seating area with plenty of shade. Dog friendly. Cool music playing. Nice place to escape the heat.
