The Pizza Butcher

Tried this brick oven pizza yesterday and it was so delicious we had to get it again today! The man and woman working the food truck/trailer were so kind, it was great talking with them. My wife and I love trying different pizza places, it's very rare you find such an amazing pizza. This pizza is easily a high 9 out of 10. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Apparently they use olive wood to heat the oven which smells great as well. If you guys ever get a brick and mortar store, we will be regulars for sure. I stumbled upon this food check with woodfired pizzas while getting my car fixed at a next-door garage in downtown Chandler. I saw the food truck and peeled right into the parking lot and boy am I glad that I did. First, the sleepy whale bottle shop is great (the shop where this food truck was parked in their parking lot), but the pizza is absolutely stellar. I ordered the Reuben pizza, and I ordered it because it sounds like a very strange combination! In my experience, strange combinations are always the absolute best. And this was no exception, it is absolutely fabulous. 10 out of 10 recommend run out walk come enjoy some pizza from this small business!

This is a very solid pizza I'd say about a 7.8 which is a pizza connoisseur is a high score. The pizza was cooked with precision, they nailed that spot on. The cheese was a bit light and sparse and the sauce was more mild than what I prefer and very light and the toppings were fine and of average quality. While this pizza is not life changing it is solid and would recommend eating it if you get the chance to do so.

I’ve had the opportunity to have The Pizza Butcher at a number of different community events and every time it is amazing!! The pizzas are incredible (we get the Magherita - so good, the Cheesesteak for hubby, the Reuben is my mom’s go to and my daughter loves the gluten free - she says best gf pizza ever!)…love that there’s an awesome option for everyone! The service is exceptional! Whenever The Pizza Butcher is in the area, we stop by to pick up dinner! So good!!
