The Penguin

We took our chance on the Penguin for our first meal in downtown Bethany Beach. If you’re looking for breakfast with some seafood integrated into the menu, this is the place! If you’re looking for delicious mimosa and Bloody Mary flights- this is the place! I couldn’t think of a more perfect breakfast- The seafood scrambler- although a little pricey ($35) you get a large portion of eggs, shrimp, crab meat, toast, potatoes and topped with delicious white cheddar! Highly recommend! The kids were very pleased with their chocolate chip pancakes served with syrup and lightly drizzled with powdered sugar. My wife got the Giulianis salad and said it was good! Great spot, we will be back!

This is a fantastic restaurant. Came here for breakfast. The food was incredible. The blueberry pancakes were perfect in every way. I got the Andy’s Breakfast wrap and it was very good. I only wish it had an additional protein in it since the entire wrap is mainly egg. Beyond that it was great. We also got the Robins Wrap and the person eating it was very happy with it. Definitely coming back to the penguin.

Fantastic food and service. Great drinks. The food was so fresh! Super nice waitress. We had French toast, tuna melt, and a salad. Tasty drinks too. Would definitely go back another time for sure.

Excellent brunch spot in the heart of Bethany beach steps from the boardwalk. This awesome little spot is definitely worth a visit, but make sure you get there early it closes at 2 pm. The French toast is ridiculously good. The menu is perfect with options to satisfy everyone. There are egg scrambles, salads, and sandwiches. We loved the decor and vibe. Can't wait to go back!

1 year later and BOOM!!!! 1st things first....get the homemade poptart!! I've walked past this place 500 times in 15 years and never went in....shame on me.....Vermont syrup, Vermont Chedder... OMG...I've been a fool..... I want to try 4 other things on the menu....Can't wait till I go again!
