Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Addy by the Sea. It came highly recommended by family and friends, and it did not disappoint. The facility, including the rooms, common spaces, and outdoor areas were all stunning and well-maintained. We really liked that it is right on the beach, so beach access was easy. The staff are amazing. We felt so welcomed and treated immediately like royalty. It is clear that they care about their guests. They certainly go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. The food was also impressive. High end breakfasts, snacks, and tea time. The total experience was relaxing, superior comfort, and enjoyable. We actually booked our next stay before we had even checked out, so we will be back in the Fall.

We loved every minute from the moment we arrived at Addy Sea. The Addy Sea has thought of every little detail to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the fruit-infused water stations to the take away lunch pre-orders to the incredible water pressure at the foot shower to the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. The balance of modern amenities and B&B charm gave us all warm and fuzzy feelings. We hope to return soon!

We have visited Addy Sea since 2015 and it never grows old. Under new management, it has grown into an even lovelier B & B. There are rooms now in the adjoining house which are lovely and can be rented. Each room in the new and older areas has a theme of sorts and the hardest thing is trying to decide which one you want! They serve a nice breakfast and in season (May to September) you can get a light fair lunch. We love that it has its own beach and one can sit on the wrap around porch and just enjoy the scenery. Extremely relaxing and close to everything.

I always knew Addy was a lovely place to stay for a vacation, but for my family they were more! When my mother, who lives alone, lost power and therefore heat for several days during the recent winter storm, I started calling nearby hotels to find a place for her to stay when it became clear her power wasn’t coming back on quickly and she has no family in state. The Addy answered the phone and despite technically being closed due to the storm, the opened up a room for my mom and welcomed her in so she could have a warm and safe place to stay. They assured me they would take care of my mom while on the phone and they did. All I needed for my mom was a warm place for her to go, but they went above and beyond for her.
