Customer Reviews
Brisket sandwich 1/4 rack of ribs Coleslaw Smokey, Sweet and Original BBQ sauces. I don't know if it's because I visited during the winter season, but the brisket sandwich was super dry. Tender, but dry; it was like eating a biscuit. Thought the sauces might help but they were nothing short of regular BBQ sauces. The ribs were alright at best, still on the dry side. Coleslaw was a bit too tangy.
What a gem! Right off the road, stopped for some munchies, got some Barnard rolls - did not disappoint- I was skeptical when told it was an egg roll stuffed with brisket pork and chicken three for $10. Would come again!
Had the steak and cheese wasn't to bad but wasn't what I was expecting.I put my own Mustard on cause they only gave 2 small squeeze packets .Also got the sampler which came with Brisket,Pork & Chicken with 1 side i chose the Beans also got 2 sauces the original and Moonshine both were good but peferd the Moonshine. As far as the Smoked meats they were Good & would probably get anything smoked got the Cole-slaw didn't have much taste but was eatable if that makes sense.Over all Not a Bad place to eat .
Some of the best barbecue I've had north of Georgia and east of the Mississippi. The prices were fair, the food was hot and fresh, and the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be stopping in again when I pass through Maine. Got a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, Dr pepper, and baked beans with two sauces. All this for less & a soda than 20 bucks, I ain't about to complain. Just remember to bring a bit of cash if you plan on tipping. The visa machine doesn't take tips.
Delicious, Veteran owned roadside eats! Enjoyed the sampler with pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket and ribs with choice of two sauces and a side of French fries. We split the sampler and it was the right amount of food! Will definitely return when in the area again! Sat at the picnic tables with our pup who enjoyed a hotdog! Thank you!!!
