The Other Place

Wanted bbq but our usual places were closed on Monday. So glad they were!! You can order outside or sit inside. I love a good pulled pork and this may be the best I’ve ever had! The bbq is made by them and fresh! The fries were hot and crispy on outside. Soft and yummy inside. So much on the menu I want try. Pepper steak sandwich, brisket, pizza burger. Even crawfish pie! And fried green tomatoes! Staff is super friendly. It’s like visiting family.

Love finding places like this. Such friendly people and the food was awesome. Great seasoning on the burger. Curly fries were crispy like we like them. Just enough food and worth the price. Put this on your list next time you are passing through.

My husband and I were just passing through and wanted a good, quick bite to eat, and let me tell you, this place was **amazing**! We asked the lady (who's also the owner!) for a recommendation, and she immediately suggested the **Philly steak and onion rings**. They were fantastic! I also got a delicious **cheeseburger and fries**. Everything was cooked perfectly. Even the drinks—the **sweet tea and coke**—were wonderful. I hate that I couldn't take a picture of how beautiful the food looked! Next time we're driving through, we are definitely stopping here again. Highly recommend!

Delicious! We stopped in here for lunch when we were passing through the area. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. Very reasonable prices for what you get. It was so great to be able to get $3 grilled cheeses for the kids (they are always overpriced at eat-in restaurants). My husband and I both got a Mac Burger and they were fantastic. They weren’t greasy, which is a huge plus. Would definitely stop back again.

Traveling through lucked into finding this gem. We had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and a double cheeseburger with onion rings and fried mushrooms. Even better, hubs got his Diet Coke instead of the other diet drink. Lol. The ladies were super friendly. Food was made to order and absolutely delish! Will make this a stop on future travels.
