The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Akron

I had a great experience at The Original Steaks and Hoagies! We went around 5 PM on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all. The place was very clean, the staff was super friendly, and our food came out in less than 8 minutes. I ordered a cheesesteak, and honestly it was the best one I’ve ever had. The fries were also out of this world! I don’t know what they do differently, but they were hands-down the best fries I’ve ever eaten. I’d go back tomorrow just for those fries. Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality made it worth it. Everything was fantastic, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a casual dining spot. Super hot, fresh, chopped in front of your face (if you’re into that) steak hoagies with hot, stretchy cheese …Tons of it. Of that what you like then this place should be on your radar. I had to add salt to my sandwich and fries suit my taste, but I goes that I’d rather add more salt than to have them over salt it 🧂. Super friendly owner and staff. I’m really happy to see something new in this neighborhood. The fries were great, the onion rings were good. I also tasted the cheese filled tater tots. They were a flavor explosion.

Place looks a little weird from the outside, inside 8 out of 10 BUT it’s our first time, guy at the front lead us to choosing great food , I had the large original Philly, fresh cut fries are great! He had a smash burger that came with fries & a drink. Super fast, fresh to bad it’s far.

Best cheesesteaks I have ever had in my life. Fresh ribeye instead of what that eddies place uses. They legit get there steak in cooked. This spot is real thank you for coming to Akron

HOT BURGER! HOT BURGER!! DAMN THAT WAS FIRE!!. I went in for a cheese Steak. But my belly changed its mind for a buger!! I am stuffed!! It was so good!! Guy who made it 5 🌟 delicious and very flavorful! Ill be back! Love the loud music!! Keep up the good work!! Appreciate yall for my yummy food!! While I was working!!
