The Original Rainbow Cone

This is our go to spot for desserts when we are in Ireland. From the cream to the mini donuts we haven’t had anything yet that we haven’t liked. Service has been spot on for each stop and we haven’t been here each of the last three months.

A Chicago staple. Nice variety of ice cream. Clean. Winter time is the best time for ice cream. I got the cookies n cream, super Sunday. Mini warm donuts inside of the sundae.

Wonderful Customer Service!!!!!! Even though it’s a huge promotional DAY!!!!! I would like to say thank you to the wonderful young lady working the drive thru around 7 PM today. She was so kind and patient while taking our order. She was very professional and sweet. Thank you Young lady for going above and beyond I wish I knew your name so you could get credit for this review. I DID THIS REVIEW BECAUSE YOU AND THE WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!!!! And you definitely get your moneys worth!!!!!

10/10 Tonight my family and I visited the Orland Park location—normally we go to the original Chicago spot—and we had the best experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Tracy was absolutely wonderful and so sweet. We discussed school things for our PTA and just felt the genuineness. Rainbow Cone has been part of our lives since we were children, and it was really special to continue making family memories here. Even though it’s the off-season for ice cream, the shop felt warm, inviting, and full of genuine hospitality. Thank you for such a lovely experience—we’ll definitely be back! 🫶🏻

I've received a Rainbow cake from a girlfriend a couple of years ago and fell in love with The Original Rainbow cone ever since! Who wouldn't love the multiple layers of deliciousness so when we know our neighborhood opened one, we have to give it a try. Super cute inside with plenty of seating which made me feel like a kid all over again. Service was nice and friendly. Quick and fun. Would definitely be back again!
